Boron Carbide Control Pellets and Al2O3 - B4C burnable neutron absorbers can be manufactured to tight specifications. TMP has produced millions of pellets without a single failure. We maintain a high-level quality assurance programme designed to meet and exceed the requirements for 10CFR50, Appendix B.
Boron Carbide Control Rod Pellets are manufactured using cold press and sinter process followed by dry grinding to customer's requirements. Al2O3 - B4C burnable neutron absorbers have been manufactured as both solid and annular pellets. The B10 concentration can be varied to optimize the reactor neutron flux.
